Jamie McMurray Running Three XFINITY Series Races in 2018

Jamie McMurray will pilot an XFINITY Series car for the first time since 2013. McMurray will share the No. 42 entry in the XFINITY Series with Kyle Larson, John Hunter Nemechek, and Justin Marks.

McMurray will make his return to the XFINITY Series in the fourth race of the season at Phoenix in the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro. He also has the May Charlotte race on his schedule along with The July race at Daytona. The schedule could see some races added over the year but DC Solar has stepped up to sponsor him in those three races.

In his XFINITY Series career, McMurray has claimed eight victories, 31 top-fives, and 68 top-ten finishes. His last victory came in 2011 at Atlanta with JR Motorsports, that was his last multi-race season in the series.

Kyle Larson will kick off the season behind the wheel of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet at Daytona in two weeks. John Hunter Nemechek will pilot the car for the first time at Atlanta. (Koelle,2018)
