Perfect Hydration will return with Jesse Iwuji in 2018. The 9.5+ pH Alkaline Water joined Iwuji in mid-2017 and sponsored the Carrollton, TX native in six races last season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. Perfect Hydration will jump on board with Iwuji again in the K&N Pro Series this season and could possibly make its marketing debut in an ARCA Racing Series start.
“This is great being able to bring onboard a primary sponsor for the second year in a row,” Iwuji said. “It just shows the solitude of the relationship and how we have continued to grow to help Perfect Hydration expand their business across the US.”
In 2017, Iwuji completed a full season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, two races in the East Series, and 3 NAPA Autoparts Big 5 Late Model Series starts. He finished 14th in the K&N Pro Series West standings and 5th in the Big 5 Late Model Series.
This season, Iwuji will branch out more into ARCA Racing Series, making his debut at Daytona Feb 10th in his No. 34 BBMC Mortgage Chevrolet. Iwuji will also add some K&N East dates to his schedule with the ultimate goal of moving up to the next level in NASCAR competition.

“My goals in 2018 is to gain as much NASCAR K&N experience as possible competitively starting and finishing races on tracks a half mile or larger to include Bristol, Dover, New Hampshire, Gateway and more so that I can eventually move up the NASCAR ladder.” Iwuji stated.
EX-NFL Pro Bowler turned entrepreneur and NASCAR Car Owner Shawne Merriman had a few words about this upcoming season with Iwuji too: “I couldn’t be more amped to have PH come in again this year. On February 10th, Iwuji will make his ARCA Racing Series debut at the Daytona International Speedway. Just a day later he’ll run the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event just down the interstate at New Smyrna, where Perfect Hydration will make their season debut. The remainder of Perfect Hydration’s schedule will be announced at a later date but will feature both K&N West & East races.
Brandon Benesch, spotter for Danica Patrick, has also joined forces with Patriot Motorsports Group and began assisting with car setups and spotting duties. With the addition of Brandon’s highly qualified efforts from his past car chief work with JR Motorsports, PMG should see improvement throughout the season.
