We asked you the fans who you thought would be the next face of NASCAR now that Dale Earnhardt Jr. has retired and will not be eligible for the award of Most Popular Driver in 2018.

The options included four of NASCAR's new faces and one face that has grown into a superstar in the sport. William Byron, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Erik Jones, and we also had an option that you could put other, being that you would have another driver in mind. The results really didn't surprise us either and we think they were evident at Martinsville by the fan reaction to what happened between Elliott and Denny Hamlin. Here are the results of our poll, below will be three new polls for the fans to vote on. These polls will come to an end on January 9th. As always vote to the right of the homepage.

Results

  1. Chase Elliott - 52%
  2. Ryan Blaney - 23%
  3. Kyle Busch - 19%
  4. William Byron - 4%
  5. Erik Jones - 0%
  6. Other - 0%
