Kennedy joins Richard Childress Racing

After a successful 2016 Season for Ben Kennedy in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Kennedy will be taking a step up to the next level in 2017 running part time for Richard Childress Racing.
Kennedy will share the #2 with NASCAR Veteran Paul Menard and 2013 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion Austin Dillon. Kennedy made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut last season at Iowa where he finished 10th after starting 6th.
Kennedy is the son of Lisa France Kennedy, Grandson of Bill France Jr, and Great Grandson of NASCAR Founder Bill France Sr.. Kennedy has been racing in NASCAR since 2010, Kennedy was able to gain his first career victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series last season in the UNOH 200 at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Kennedy has three career victories in NASCAR over four series, gaining the other two victories in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2013.
Kennedy will pilot the #2 Rheem Chevrolet Camaro in nine races beginning with one of the toughest races on the NASCAR Circuit in the Sparks Energy 300 at the Talladega Superspeedway in May. The other nine races are to be announced at a later date.
