Brandon Brown teams with Tommy Joe Martins in The NCWTS

Two of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' biggest underdogs will be joining forces for the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season.

Brandon Brown, who drove the #86 Coastal Carolina Chevrolet Silverado in 2016, and Tommy Jo Martins, who drove the #44 Diamond Gusset Jeans Chevrolet Silverado will join forces in 2017 and try to make the best of the team work beginning in two weeks at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach Florida. The move helps out Martins Motorsports on the financial side of things with the team still vividly in search for partners.
Brandon Brown will pilot the #44 beginning in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona. Brown will pilot the #44 in a few more races that will be announced in the coming weeks. For fans of Tommy Joe Martins, you will still see the Como Mississippi native behind the wheel of a truck in the season opening race at Daytona also.
Tommy Joe Martins has 25 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with his best finish coming at Michigan in June where he finished 15th. Martins also led a career high seven laps last season. Along with the 25 starts in the NCWTS, Martins has 11 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with his best finish coming at Talladega where he finished 14th. Brandon Brown has 21 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with his best finish coming at Daytona in the Cinderella Story where he finished 4th. Brown also has 3 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a best finish of 23rd at the Season Ending Race at Homestead last season.
