DiBenedetto Seeks Success in First Season at Go Fas Racing

A new face in a new place is the way you can describe Matt DiBenedetto's silly season. Following his departure from BK Racing early in December, DiBenedetto wasn't on the Free Agency List for long as on the 15th of December it was announced that DiBenedetto would pilot the #32 Ford Fusion at Go Fas Racing in 2017. It's new to the team also as DiBenedetto is slated to pilot the #32 in a full-time campaign becoming Go Fas Racing's first full time driver in the teams history.

DiBenedetto has been in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series since 2015. DiBenedetto has driven for BK Racing every season in his cup series career gaining a best finish of 6th last season in the Food City 500 at Bristol. DiBenedetto finished 35th in points in both seasons with BK Racing. DiBenedetto has made 68 career starts in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. DiBenedetto has also made 68 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a best finish of 9th at Iowa in 2010 with Joe Gibbs Racing. DiBenedetto has the talent and now has a good organization and support system behind him in the shape of Go Fas Racing. In 2017, DiBenedetto will seek to gain the best finishes he possibly can while chasing a spot in the Chase.
Go Fas Racing has made 102 starts in the Monster Energy Cup Series gaining 3 Top-20 finishes, and the car completed 98.88% of the laps. The teams best finish came with Terry Labonte at Daytona in the 2014 Coke Zero 400 where he finished 11th. The team remains with Ford in 2017 for the fourth season where it will join Stewart Haas Racing, Team Penske, Front Row Motorsports, Wood Brothers Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, and Richard Petty Motorsports on the Hunt for Fords first Manufactures Championship since 2002. The Manufacture battle is back with Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota all three being on the same playing field. 2017 will be one exciting year especially for Matt DiBenedetto as he seeks his first career victory.
