Earlier this morning, ThorSport Racing announced that Matt Crafton would return to the team this season and this evening they revealed Coughlin will join him at ThorSport. Cody Coughlin has drove for Kyle Busch Motorsports on a part time basis the last two seasons. Coughlin raced in 10 races last season with a best finish of 12th at Texas in June, with his best start coming at Talladega where he started 7th.
Coughlin will team with two time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion which will be a great learning experience for him. RIDE TV will also return to the #13 as it did in 2016 with Cameron Hayley. Hayley has piloted the #13 the last two seasons but it was announced earlier in the off season that he would not return.
