Circle Sport and The Motorsports Group Merge for 2017 Season

The 2017 Season is approaching very rapidly with really the final few puzzle pieces being put together in the next month as the 59th Annual Daytona 500 is just a few weeks away. One charter that very many were wondering what would be made of in the 2017 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series has made a new home and that is Joe Falk's #33 Charter that is with Circle Sport that was with Leavine Family Racing in the 2016 Season. It was announced today that it'll head to Curtis Key's The Motorsports Group in the 2017 Season where it will field the #33 Chevrolet SS in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series with the #30 running in some races but the #33 Chevrolet SS with a main driver that will compete for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship in 2017. The driver of that sole car will be announced in the next few weeks while it is unknown on when that second entry will be entered first.
Pat Tryson will return to be the crew chief for the #33 Chevrolet SS beginning at the 59th Daytona 500. Tryson was the crew chief for The Motorsports Group in 2015 when the team made the transition from the Xfinity Series to the Cup Series. Tryson was with Premium Motorsports in 2016 where he was the crew chief for Ryan Ellis, Alex Kennedy, Reed Sorenson, Michael Waltrip, and Cole Whitt. Tryson has eight career victories in the Cup Series along with 62 Top-5's, 132 Top-10's, and 3 poles.
