NASCAR Announces K&N Pro Series Schedule for 2017

NASCAR has announced the 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series Schedules for the East and West Series that will feature some of the most competitive tracks with some of NASCAR's Young Guns at some of NASCAR's best tracks throughout the country.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East features 13 races at 12 different tracks, one currently listed as TBA. Justin Haley claimed the crown in 2016 Season but it is unknown at this time on if he will return in 2017. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series season opener will be at the New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Florida. The East Series will have 6 companion races with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series (Bristol Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, Watkins Glen International, and Dover International Raceway). The Series will also be in the same area as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for it's season in New Smyrna on February 19th, the same day as Coors Light Qualifying for the 59th Annual Daytona 500 at nearby Daytona International Speedway. The Series heads to Memphis International Raceway and Berlin Raceway for the first time along with a return to Thompson Speedway.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West features 13 Races at 12 different tracks across the Western Part of the United States. It contains only one companion race with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma California. It will also share a race weekend with the NASCAR Xfinity Series at the Iowa Speedway where it will be a combination race with the NASCAR K&N Pros Series East. Todd Gilliland, the 2016 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Champion is like Haley, we currently don't know if he will return to the series.
