Gallagher will driver Full-Time in NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2017

Add Spencer Gallagher to that list of drivers moving up to the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2017. Gallagher will drive the #23 Chevrolet Camaro for GMS Racing. Gallagher piloted the #21 Chevrolet Camaro in a few races last season while also competing for the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship.

Gallagher made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2016 driving for GMS Racing at Phoenix at the beginning of the season. Gallagher raced in 7 NASCAR Xfinity Series races with a best finish of 8th coming at Daytona in July.
Gallagher has raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series since 2013 with a best finish of 2nd coming twice. Once at Gateway in 2015 and the second time at Talladega earlier this season. Spencer Gallagher began his tenure with GMS Racing back in 2014 where he raced in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards where he gained his sole victory at Kansas.
Gallagher will join Cole Custer, William Byron, Brandon Gdovic, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Reddick, and Matt Tifft in competing for the 2017 Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
