Dakoda Armstrong Returns to JGL Racing in 2017

Dakoda Armstrong will return to JGL Racing in 2017 driving the #28 Toyota Camry for the team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Longtime sponsor WinField will return to be the primary sponsor on Armstrong's Toyota in 20 Races beginning with the season opening race at Daytona in February.
Armstrong finished 13th in NASCAR Xfinity Series points in 2016, gaining 22 Top-20 finishes. Dakoda Armstrong gained a 12th place finish at Daytona. Armstrong drove for Joe Gibbs Racing at Iowa in July to a career best 5th place finish.
Armstrong's 2017 season will be overseen by veteran crew chief Steven Lane. Joe Gibbs Racing will continue to supply JGL Racing with engines while that relationship will continue over the 2017 Season. It is unknown at this time if JGL will continue the #24 program in 2017. The #24 was piloted by numerous drivers including Brandon McReynolds, Corey Lajoie, and Drew Herring.
