Wise Looks for Retribution at Texas

At the Texas Motor Speedway earlier this year, Josh Wise hit the outside wall very hard ending his night after only 178 laps. This weekend Josh Wise looks for retribution and it couldn't come at a better time.
Wise was the driving coach last weekend for Gray Gaulding and the previous weekend, The Motorsports Group didn't enter the Hellmann's 500 at the Talladega Superspeedway. Wise will race for The Motorsports Group for the 28th time this season and will look to gain the team a very good finish as the 2017 Season approaches.

Josh Wise has raced at the Texas Motor Speedway six times over his career with his best finish coming in April of 2013 where he finished 30th. His best start came in April in 2012 where he finished 2012.
So far in 2016, Josh Wise has made a difference without a Charter making 27 of the 32 races he attempted which is very impressive for an underfunded team who doesn't have a charter. Josh's best finish came at Kentucky where he finished 24th. His best start came at Richmond in the spring where he started 31st. In his return to The Motorsports Group following Martinsville, Wise will look to get the spotlight on him. And not in the same way he did in the spring. (Koelle,2016)
