With this Chase Format, if you aren't a Chase driver you highly ever get the medias attention and if you want an example of that Ryan Blaney is just your guy. Since Chicago, Blaney has gained two Top-10's and those two races have something in common. Two times NBC didn't get a word with him following the race. Blaney finished 4th at Chicago and 8th today in Phoenix and well the TV just left him under the radar.

Blaney qualified well which as of late hasn't surprised anyone and with an important race next weekend in Homestead for Ford itself I say Blaney and Keselowski will do all they can to help gain Joey Logano the championship. Blaney is in a battle himself with Chase Elliott and today's finish really helped his case. Ryan is competing for the Rookie of The Year against mainly Chase Elliott as the others aren't really in the hunt but today it was all about a good run in the Can-Am 500 and that was exactly what Blaney did. Blaney started the race from 8th and remained above the Top-15 to gain his 9th Top-10 finish of 2016.
Blaney is looking to gain all he can and attract possible sponsors as its been confirmed that Blaney will return to the Wood Brothers in 2017 with a heavy possibility of having a charter which would help the team focus on other things rather than focusing on making sure Ryan makes the forty car field every weekend. A 2016 Season Review will be out sometime following Thanksgiving but we still have to get past Homestead.
