Ellis Pulling Triple Duty at Texas

Ryan Ellis will be busy this weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway starting with tomorrow nights NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race. Ellis will be driving the #10 for Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing. Ellis has raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series, On Saturday Ryan will start for Obaika Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series driving the #97, and then finally on Sunday Ellis will make his 5th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start driving the #93 ScienceLogic Toyota Camry for BK Racing.

Ryan Ellis has made 24 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with tonight being his 25th start. Ellis has been a staple name in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series along in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He has four starts at the Texas Motor Speedway with his best finish coming last year of a 20th in the #1 truck.

On Saturday Afternoon, Ryan will start the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge in the #97 entry for Obaika Racing. It'll be his 45th career start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and his eighth start this season with Obaika Racing. Ellis has raced at Texas three times in the Xfinity Series with his best finish coming earlier this season with Obaika Racing where he finished 30th.
Finally on Sunday, Ryan will make his 5th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start behind the wheel of the #93 ScienceLogic Toyota Camry for BK Racing. It'll be his Texas Debut in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Ellis has raced at Phoenix, Richmond, Loudon, and Indianapolis and now he will add Texas to the list of tracks he's raced at in NASCAR's premier series. Ellis's best finish in the Cup Series came at Indianapolis where he finished 32nd after starting 36th. (Koelle,2016)
