Chris Buescher to JTG Daugherty Racing in 2017

JTG Daugherty revealed this afternoon that Chris Buescher will driver a second entry for the team in the NASCAR Premier Series. He will become teammates with A.J Allmendinger in 2017 driving an unreleased number Chevrolet SS.

"We can confirm at this time that JTG Daugherty Racing is currently in the process of starting a second team in the NASCAR Premier Series," JTG Daugherty Racing team owner Tad Geschickter said. "We would also like to confirm and welcome Chris Buescher to the team as our driver for the second car. More details will follow."
Chris Buescher will bring the charter from Roush Fenway Racing's #16. Roush Fenway announced their 2017 plans also but that will be detailed in the next article. "I can confirm that I have signed to race for JTG Daugherty Racing as they expand to a two-car team in the NASCAR Premier Series in 2017," Chris Buescher said. "I'm thankful for the opportunity and look forward to compering for a spot in the Chase. More details will follow."
Buescher the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion raced for Front Row Motorsports last season where he gained his first career victory in the rain shortened race at Pocono. Chris Buescher finished 16th in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series points.
JTG Daugherty started their NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the 2008 Brickyard 400. AJ Allmendinger gained the team their first victory back at Watkins Glen in 2014. It'll be the first time in the  (Koelle,2016; In part from JTG Daugherty Racing)
