With a cloudy future at stake, Landon Cassill is needing to give it his 100% every weekend and make sure not just the fans see his value but also the owners in NASCAR. Cassill has been Mr. Consistency over the last few seasons and continues to hold that nickname very well.

Today in Phoenix, Cassill was able to pull off a 20th place finish in his #38 MDS Transport Ford Fusion for Front Row Motorsports. His 7th Top-20 finish of the 2016 and his first Top-20 finish since Charlotte in October where he finished 19th. Cassill hasn't had a special season but he's still been consistent which for a small team like Front Row Motorsports isn't anything to complain about.
Cassill's future hasn't surfaced yet and it's unaware on if Cassill will return to Front Row Motorsports in 2017 but with other rides opening, Cassill could become a Free Agent while Front Row could gain another driver from Roush Fenway Racing's Xfinity Series team. Circle Sport Racing, where Cassill raced from 2013-2015 (Cassill raced under Hillman Racing banner from 2014 to 2015), is returning to the Cup Series next season and if that ride doesn't become Ty Dillon's home in 2017, Cassill could return to that team. With his seventh Top-20 finish of the 2016 Season it certainly has to make job searching a little bit more easier for Cassill especially with all of these ride possibilities. (Koelle,2016)
