Bowman the Showman Gains First Career Pole!

Alex Bowman got faster as the qualifying went on to gain his first career Pole tonight at Phoenix. Bowman of course is driving in the #88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS filling in for Dale Earnhardt Jr. who is still recovering from a concussion he was diagnosed with earlier this season. It is his first career pole in his 80th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start.
Kyle Larson will start second, while former Chaser Chase Elliott starts third. Chasers Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin round out the Top-5. The worst starting Chaser will be Kyle Busch who will start 19th on Sunday. There are two practices scheduled for tomorrow one at 3:00 pm/ET and the other at 6:00 pm/ET. Sunday's race will be on NBC starting at 2:30 pm/ET.
