NCWTS Martinsville Practice Report

First Practice Report

Daniel Suarez unloaded the #51 Arris Toyota Tundra off the truck very fast this morning as it paced the fasted time in the first practice of the day for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Suarez topped the charts with a speed of 95.525 mph. Cameron Hayley was second followed by Chasers William Byron and Matt Crafton and non Chaser John Hunter Nemechek rounded out the Top-5 on the Speed Charts. 35 of the 37 drivers practiced during the session. Matt Tifft had the fastest 10-Lap Average in first practice followed by Cameron Hayley, Spencer Gallagher, Daniel Suarez, and Chase Elliott rounded out the Top-5 10-Lap Averages.

Final Practice Report

Chaser William Byron made a statement in final practice this afternoon after knocking John Hunter Nemechek off the top late in the session. Byron was fastest in Final Practice with a speed of 96.185 mph. Chaser Johnny Sauter was second followed by Daniel Suarez, Cole Custer, and Tyler Reddick. 36 of the 37 drivers practiced during the session. Cameron Hayley again showed speed on the 10-Lap Average chart while John Hunter Nemechek was second. Chaser Matt Crafton had the fastest 10-Lap Average out of all the chasers with Johnny Sauter not to far behind finishing 4th on the 10-Lap Average chart. Chase Elliott was 5th on the 10-Lap Average Chart.
