LaJoie Shows He Belongs in Xfinity Series

JGL Racing Facebook Page
Following in his fathers footsteps, Corey LaJoie arrived at the Dover International Raceway where he would make his 13th NASCAR Xfinity Series start and 7th start for JGL Racing in 2016. LaJoie's father, Randy found much success at the Monster Mile sweeping the NASCAR Xfinity Series races there in 1996.
On Sunday, Corey would start the Drive Sober 200 from Dover in 19th. Through the race, Corey would find his way into the Top-10 and even on the second row during a restart toward the end of the race. LaJoie would just stay as consistent and try his hardest to stay in the Top 10 which as the checkered flag fell, he'd be in 6th.
With his 6th place finish, Corey would demolish his best career finish of 10th that he gained at Bristol in his last go around in the Xfinity Series. LaJoie is taking as many opportunities as he can as he follows in his fathers footsteps. He is also making his name in a series that states so often "Names are Made Here" and He's proved in his last two races he belongs in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. (Koelle,2016)
