Nashville country star Jerrod Niemann will perform as the headliner for the traditional Saturday Night Infield Concert, Oct. 22, as part of the much anticipated Chase double elimination weekend. Niemann is set to take the stage at NASCAR's "Party Capital" just hours after the conclusion of the fred's 250 Powered by Coca-Cola NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race where the field of title contenders will be cut from eight to six, and the night before the Alabama 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event where only eight of 12 drivers will advance in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a Sunday race ticket for the Alabama 500. Niemann is currently on tour, and working on his new album. The recently released first single, titled "A Little More Love," is a duet with friend and label mate Lee Brice. His most recent album, High Noon, featured the Platinum-certified hit "Drink to That All Night," a two-week No. 1 smash. High Noon was a follow-up to his Free the Music album, which included the emotional "Only God Could Love You More" and "Shinin' on Me." (Talladega Superspeedway)
