Harvick Blooms Yet Another Chase Victory!

Kevin Harvick was able to pass Carl Edwards in a late race restart to gain his 4th victory of the 2016 Season for the #4 Team.
Never being eliminated from a round in this new Chase format was a stat Kevin Harvick kept going with his victory in today's Hollywood Casino 400 at the Kansas Speedway. Carl Edwards was able to hold off Kyle Busch to finish second while Busch finished third. Last weekends winner Jimmie Johnson finished fourth and Kyle Busch rounded out the Top-5. The worst finishing Chase driver was Brad Keselowski who was involved in a wreck. Brad finished 38th. With his victory today in Kansas swing on over to your local Outback Steakhouse to gain a free Bloomin' Onion, just mention Harvick's victory.

The right strategy and being in the right place at the right time was what landed Kevin "The Closer" Harvick his fourth victory of the 2016 Season.
After starting 11th, Kevin was able to stay in the Top-10 most of the day and was able to contend for the victory at the right time. The #4 Outback Chevrolet SS bloomed at just the right time in the season and was able to overcome two straight disappointing finishes in a row.
Another good thing for Harvick is that he will not enter Talladega in a must win situation nor even in a must care situation. Congrats to Kevin Harvick for winning today's race along with The Driver of The Week Award!

Next Race for The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

DEGA'
Yes Talladega looms for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as we head to Kansas. We ain't in Kansas anymore kids and it's about to get intense. Brad Keselowski won here in May and is sitting on the outside looking in on the Chase Grid. Last October, Joey Logano stole the victory from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and instead of being firm in the Chase, Joey must work hard to remain a contender in the Chase. Speaking of Chase, Chase Elliott is really the only driver in a must win situation going to Talladega and trust me Elliott will rise to the Occasion.
