First Truck Race for Whitt Since 2012

Cole Whitt will do something on Saturday that he hasn't done since Talladega in 2012. Drive a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Truck.
Whitt is entered in Ricky Benton's #92 BTS Tire/Goodyear Commercial Tire/Gerald's Tire Ford F-150 in Saturday's Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions. Whitt's last start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series came at Talladega in the #27 Chevrolet for Hillman Racing in the 2012 Fred's 250 Powered by Coca-Cola. He finished 13th in that race. Whitt also has 26 other starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, a majority of which came with Stacy Compton in 2011 where Whitt competed in a full season. Whitt won the pole at Darlington and a best finish of 2nd at Dover. Whitt finished 9th in points that season.
Whitt has made 26 Starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series all of which coming with Premium Motorsports. His best finish came at Daytona in July where he finished 11th. (Koelle,2016)
