First Cup Race at Martinsville for Earnhardt

Jeffrey Earnhardt has experience at Martinsville just not in a Cup Car. Jeffrey will make his 21st NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start on Sunday in the #32 Keen Parts/Rain-X Ford Fusion for Go Fas Racing and in 21 starts, Sunday will be his first NSCS Start at Martinsville. In 2011, Jeffrey raced at Martinsville in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series where he finished 34th after a late race crash ended his day.
So far in 2016 Earnhardt has had a rather uneventful Rookie Season. His best finish came at Charlotte earlier this month where he finished 26th. Earnhardt's inexperience at Martinsville could hurt him but could also give him a little bit more leeway with the other drivers in the field. His crew chief Wally Rogers has been the Crew Chief in 7 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Martinsville and on Sunday it'll be his 8th. With that experience on the Pit Box, the crew chief will be a big help. Asking the crew chief may not be his only option for advice he could also ask a family member for some advice as Jeffrey's Uncle, Dale Earnhardt Jr. won at Martinsville in October of 2014 along with 16 Top-10 finishes over his career.
