Chase Contenders Will Not Race in Drive Sober 200

Three key Chase Contenders were expected to race in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Drive Sober 200 but with it now being postponed to tomorrow Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and Austin Dillon will skip tomorrow's Xfinity Series race to focus on the first Elimination Race of the 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase.
In place for Joey Logano will be Ryan Blaney, who drives the #21 Wood Brothers Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Ryan Blaney finished third in last weekends race at Kentucky.
In place for Austin Dillon will be Regan Smith, who drives the #7 Chevrolet SS for Tommy Baldwin Racing last made a start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol with JR Motorsports where he finished 11th.
And finally In place for Kyle Busch will be Joe Gibbs Racing development driver Drew Herring who will be making his first start for Joe Gibbs since Homestead in 2013. Herring has raced for JGL Racing four times this season, most recently at Iowa in July where he finished 12th.
This is the first NASCAR Sprint Cup/Xfinity double hitter since April 25th, 2010 when the NASCAR Xfinity Aaron's 312 was postponed to Sunday after the Aaron's 499 at the Talladega Superspeeday. (Koelle,2016)
