With his win today, Martin Truex Jr. broke a personal milestone in his career that has to make him feel good about how his season is going. That milestone was Truex gained his first Multi-Win Season of his career and that may surprise you when you look at his career and how short it seems to have been. 1 win in 2007 at Dover, 1 in 2013 at Sonoma, 1 at Pocono last season and then finally this season Truex wins two (Charlotte and Darlington) With his fifth win coming today, Truex showed he's not a person to be messed with. In 2016, Truex had won the Coca-Cola 600 earlier this season but was just inches close to winning the 2016 Daytona 500 but ironically the person on the other side of that inches equation would be Martin's technical teammate Denny Hamlin. Truex, Hamlin, and Edwards all three have two wins this season and that's a very neat stat within the Toyota Camp. In a camp that has had the major success that Hendrick Motorsports and Roush Fenway Racing has had in the past.
