Pulling Double Duty, Wise Looks to Tame Monster Mile

Josh Wise heads to the Monster Mile this weekend where he will pull double duty. Running for The Motorsports Group in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Citizen Soldier 400 and Rick Ware Racing in tomorrow's Drive Sober 200. Josh Wise is coming off another double duty run last weekend at New Hampshire where he drove a NCWTS Truck for Premium Motorsports where he finished 27th. It was his first NCWTS race since 2012. Wise then raced in last Sundays Bad Boy Off Road 300 where he finished 39th.

Wise enters Dover for the 10th time in his career in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. His best finish was a 28th in 2014 when he drove for Phil Parsons Racing. Josh will start Sunday's race from the 40th position on Sunday per the NASCAR Rule Book due to Qualifying being cancelled. Wise currently sits 38th in points and 40th in Owner Points. Wise will look to make one last run with just 8 races remaining in the season.
Josh Wise will drive the #15 Lilly Trucking Ford Mustang for Rick Ware tomorrow where he will make his 12th start at Dover in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Wise didn't take it out in first practice but placed 28th out of 38 drivers in second practice. His best finish came in 2008, finishing 13th driving for FitzBradshaw Racing.
You can catch tomorrow's Drive Sober 200 from Dover beginning at 3:00 pm/ET on NBCSN, Qualifying will be on CNBC starting at 11:45 am/ET. Sunday's race will be on NBCSN with NSCS Countdown to Green starting at 1:30 pm/ET. Weather could be a factor tomorrow with their being a 60% Chance of Rain, but Sunday is looking better with currently a 20% Chance of Rain. Be sure to tune in to Cheer Josh and his team on!
