It was announced on Saturday during NASCAR Xfinity Series Qualifying that Daniel Hemric will be joining the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Cole Custer.
Next to Richard Childress, Daniel Hemric announced that he will be driving for Richard Childress Racing in 2017.
Hemric has raced in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series now for four years, 2 seasons for NTS Motorsports and this season with Brad Keselowski Racing. Hemric has tallied 12 Top-5's and 26 Top-10's. Hemric also will race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship driving for Brad Keselowski Racing as he is one of the eight drivers in the inaugural Chase. Hemric hasn't made his debut in the Xfinity Series and its unknown at this time if he will drive the #2 Chevrolet Camaro any in the remainder of 2016. I am speculating that Hemric will take over for Ty Dillon as it's been rumored that Dillon will be moving up to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. We will see as time moves on. (Koelle,2016)
