"I think we should be pretty good. We have a brand new car that we just bought and it's a very sound piece and has had a couple victories to it. Plus we've had some resources come to the plate and help us on top of the experience my crew has but I'm looking forward to the weekend and I've done nothing in the last month or so but get on be simulator and just make lap after lap at Richmond so I feel pretty confident going into the weekend." stated Cockrum in a one-on-one interview with The Motorsports News Source.
Cockrum's best finish this season came at Daytona earlier this season where he finished 28th. Cockrum has finished 29th twice this season (Atlanta and Loudon). Cockrum certainly will look to better his best finish tonight at Richmond but will certainly have to battle with many drivers in the field including some who are battling for those final chase spots.
