After finishing second at Mid-Ohio last season, Alex Tagliani hasn't been seen behind the wheel of a NASCAR in the states. Tagliani has remained in the NASCAR Pinty's Series where he and Andrew Ranger have completely dominated. Tagliani has 3 race wins this season to his name and looks to add another on Sunday in the Can-Am 50 Tours at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres. Tagliani will then move on to Riverside International Speedway on August 20th. Then on August 27th He will return to the States to race for Team Penske at Road America where he will compete against Cup Regular Michael McDowell, Erik Jones, along with 37 other Xfinity Regulars. Tagliani then will focus on winning his first NASCAR Pinty's Series Championship competing against Andrew Ranger, Cayden Lapcevich, Alex Labbe, and L.P. Dumoulin. (Koelle,2016)
