Season Best Finish for Starr at Bristol

Driving for two teams, and missing one race this season, Bristol was just what Starr needed for a confidence booster. In a night where his teammate Ryan Sieg didn't have such of a successful night, Starr capitalized and stayed consistent during the night to land his best finish of the 2016 season.
Beginning at Daytona in July, David Starr began driving for RSS Racing joining Ryan Sieg. Sub-par finish after sub-par finish was the result for Starr but Bristol came and it was like a spark happened and Starr was able to finish 16th, his best finish of 2016 so far. Starr finished 17th at Bristol in April but was able to one better it this time around. It's been the best finish for Starr since he finished 13th at Dover last year. Starr has shown improvement and certainly has both Bristol races circled on the schedule for next season. (Koelle,2016)
