Holman Contends at Bristol

From just the interstate from the Bristol Motor Speedway, Caleb Holman considers Bristol his home track and to put on a good performance has to be a boost of morale. Caleb qualified about the middle of the field but little did we know the real show would come during the UNOH 200. After roughly an hour long rain delay, The NCWTS drivers were ready and Caleb was ready to show Bristol and the fans what he's made of. Holman started 21st but by lap 50, Caleb was sitting in 6th and making his mark on Colossus, the big screen, with announcers acknowledging him and his phenomenal run in the #75. Holman remained in and out of the Top-5 through the rest of the race and managed to be 6th with 50 to go. With a few of the KBM trucks and Thor-Sport Racing Trucks having a rough night it was time for Holman to steal the spotlight. Toward the end, Holman slipped back and finished 15th. Happy and Disappointed at the same time, Holman surely left his mark on the Last Great Colosseum. (Koelle,2016)
