Derrike Cope's Throwback Paint Scheme Revealed!

Making history as one of the biggest upsets in NASCAR history as well as one of the top ten best finishes in Daytona 500 history is the famous #10 Purolator Chevrolet driven by Derrike Cope. Purolator came on board in 1988 with Jim Testa Racing and later in 1990 with Bob Whitcomb Racing. The #10 Purolator Chevrolet won the 1990 Daytona 500 in unforgettable fashion and saw victory lane a few months later at Dover Downs where Cope dominated the field, after coming from a lap down. Cope has driven for a multitude of teams and sponsors including Bobby Allison, Cale Yarborough and the original Skittles and Bojangles car among many well known car schemes, but none more iconic than this one, the 1990 Purolator scheme. For Darlington Throwback 2016, Derrike Cope will be fielding the #70 TO THE POINT APPAREL Chevrolet in the paint scheme of the 1990 #10 Winston Cup Car. (Derrike Cope Racing)
