Martin Truex Jr. Snags 3rd Pole of 2016

Martin Truex Jr won his second pole of the 2016 Season today in Pocono at a track where he won at last season. The last time he won a pole he dominated in the race at Charlotte in the Coca-Cola 600! Carl Edwards routed yet another 2nd place start while Paul Menard Denny Hamlin, and Ryan Newman rounded out the Top-5. Martin Truex Jr. gained the pole with a speed of 179.244 and time of 50.211 around Pocono Raceway. He was --0.104 ahead of 2nd place Carl Edwards in Qualifying.
