Blake Koch returns to Iowa Speedway for the last time in the 2016 Season and he looks to gain points and maybe a win as he seeks to make the Chase for The Xfinity Series Championship. Blake raced to a track best 13th place finish at Iowa in June and will look for more. Blake will be making his 11th start at Iowa which has to be good luck with him driving the #11. Blake also had his best qualifying effort at Iowa earlier this year where he started 19th but will also look to better that stat also. Blake Koch is in the good when it comes to points but just on the border sitting 12th.

"We learned a lot from the Iowa race earlier this year, and for the first time this season, we have notes to look back at. We'll know what I like in the car and what changes should be made." states Blake Koch. "We didn't qualify very well there the first time, but I've learned a lot since then and feel like we'll be better this time around. We actually had a top-10 run going in the June race before I got spun out. I think we have a good car and we can have another strong run. Rather than say I want to go back and get a top-10, my goal is to really finish better than we did last time."
Kaulig Racing™ will roll out chassis No. 147 from it's stable of RCR chassis for Saturday's US Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway. This will be the third time chassis 147 has raced in 2016. Its debut came earlier this season at Pocono Raceway where Koch qualified 12th and finished 15th, and then again with a seventh-place starting spot and 13th-place finish at Michigan International Speedway.
In 18 starts this season, Koch has two top-10 (Daytona, Richmond), 10 top-15, and 12 top-20 finishes. The NXS driver has completed 2639 of 2819 laps attempted (93.6%) and has a season-best start of seventh at Michigan International Speedway, and a season-best finish of eighth at Richmond International Raceway. Across 18 races, Koch has an Average Start of 14.3, and an Average Finish of 18.7.
The US Cellular 250 will be televised live Saturday, July 30, at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBCSN and will be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio channel 90. (Koelle,2016; In part from Team Release)
