The Motorsports News Source NASCAR Driver Of The Week
Circle-Sport Leavine Family Racing Facebook Page |
Running with Giants by Thousand Foot Krutch would certainly be the theme for Michael McDowell so far this season at the Superspeedways being in contention to win in 2 of the last 3 races. McDowell is certainly proving his worth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and hopefully catching the eyes of some new sponsors. McDowell was able to come from 37th to finish 10th and that is where we made the decision that Michael is the driver of the week with the most moves to a highest finish. McDowell got his first Top 10 since 2014 at Daytona. This is McDowell's first driver of the week honors since one of the first driver of the week from Watkins Glen in 2015. We congratulate McDowell on his Top-10 and Becoming the Newest Driver of the Week!

Next Weekend
Don't get to relaxed we head to the newly repaved Kentucky Speedway next weekend for the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts. Brad Keselowski enters yet another track he is really good at and we could see Brad take a grip of the points lead and wins lead with win #4 of the Season. Brad heads to some of his best tracks and I don't think Penske will stop at 100.
