As Jordan Anderson entered Pocono Raceway he wanted to forget Eldora even thought it was only his first race on dirt. Jordan entered a track that he has raced at in the past and has moderate history at. Jordan Anderson entered the weekend with Columbia SC - Famously Hot on the hood and was looking to put another solid finish in the books. In 2015, Jordan Anderson made his Pocono debut with Mike Harmon where he started 21st and finished 18th. Jordan Anderson had his eyes set on the best possible finish he could gain and that was just what he did.
In first practice, Jordan ran an excellent lap of 55.345 around the Tricky Triangle which placed him 17th of the 26 trucks that went out. In the second and final practice Jordan ran a lap of 54.563 which again placed him in 17th once again. With qualifying being rained out, Jordan Anderson's practice times would be key and would place him 18th, which would set a track best for him.
Jordan Anderson would have all the bullets in his gun to set up for a great showing at the gun range. As time passed in the race, Jordan survived and passed numerous wrecks and cars to make it to the 14th place. Jordan was able to keep all four fenders on and bring home yet another Top-15. Jordan will now head to a track where he DNQ'ed at in 2015 and that was Bristol. He also made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Bristol but will look to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in 2 weeks at Bristol. (Koelle,2016)
