Another Record Broken in Canada as Lapcevich wins at Wyant Group Raceway

History was made Thursday Night as Cayden Lapcevich took his first career victory in the NASCAR Pinty's Series at Wyant Group Raceway. Lapcevich, who is 16 years, eight months and 24 days old, shattered the previous record held by J.R. Fitzpatrick who was 19 years, one month and 26 days set in 2007. Another very impressive finish and second straight podium finish by LP Dumoulin and rounding out the Top 3/Podium was Alex Labbe. The Dominators of 2016 Alex Tagliani and Andrew Ranger completed the top five.

Next Race for The NASCAR Pinty's Series 

The NASCAR Pinty's Series takes some time off but not long. They return on Aug. 14 at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres for the Can-Am 50 Tours. Kevin Lacroix is the defending race winner at Circuit de Trois-Rivieres and he will look for his first victory of 2016. The dominator named Andrew Ranger has done just that at this track with a total of 4 wins including 3 in a row from 2008-2010. L.P Dumoulin won this race in 2014 and will look to keep his momentum going!
