On a string of Good Luck, Jordan Anderson continued his phenomenal season at Kentucky on Thursday Night finishing 17th. Jordan Anderson persevered through many crashes to take his 2nd best finish of the 2016 Season.

After coming off of his best career finish at Gateway, Anderson entered Kentucky with a little extra pep in his step and that came with great reason. Anderson entered first practice with a pretty fast truck. Anderson would be ranked 21st of 31 trucks on the speed chart with a speed of 176.269 mph and a lap around Kentucky at 30.635. In 2nd practice Jordan ran a lap of 30.276 landing yet again in 21st. Consistency is sometimes key in NASCAR and that is just what Jordan had within the two practice sessions held. Now Jordan would set where he would head to the front from.

In qualifying Jordan Anderson would run a lap of 30.211, his best time of the day which would set Jordan to start in 20th place for the Buckle Up In Your Truck 225. His second best start of the season but Jordan would prove in the race once again that's not where he'd sit for the rest of the race. As the Kentucky Sun went down, it was time for Jordan Anderson to show he's in Kentucky and he means business.

Jordan kept all four fenders on the truck and raced yet another smart race, as he has done in the past 7 races this season. Jordan battled with drivers like Spencer Gallagher, Austin Hill, Cole Custer, Kyle Busch along with a few others and pushed his way up to the Top 10 at one time. A final pitstop for the Forest Acres, SC Native put him out of the Top-10 along with Austin Hill. Jordan Anderson fought vigorously to keep all four fenders on at the end of the race while he fought for all he could get and gave his 100% effort and put the #66 Chevrolet Silverado in the 17th place. A week after his best career finish Jordan would gain his second best finish of the 2016 Season. Jordan continues to impress many fans with his attitude and composure on the racetrack. Jordan Anderson is having one of those Record Years and I hope to see it continue as Jordan enters a stretch where he did so well in 2015 at tracks like Michigan, where before Gateway was his best finishing track, Pocono, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, and Chicago. Jordan will also look for retribution at Bristol after DNQing in 2015. In this next stretch of races I would surely look at Jordan Anderson for impressive finishes in his Record Year. (Koelle,2016)
