Almirola Edges Allgaier at Caution For Victory at Daytona

In a wreck filled race ended with controversy, Aric Almirola was finally able to celebrate an Xfinity Series Victory. At Milwaukee in 2007 Aric Almirola started the race but was replaced by Denny Hamlin toward the end of the event. Since that happened Aric was credited with the win but would not get to celebrate it. Tonight Aric will finally get to Celebrate his win but now without a little-bit of controversy. As the field entered the Daytona Backstretch for the final time chaos began to unfold starting with Benny Gordon turning into the outside wall collecting Ty Dillon. Ahead more was happening JJ Yeley made contact with David Ragan and that sent most of the field spinning. Jeremy Clements was sent sideways and almost flipped but NASCAR officials did not call the caution until the leaders were within walking distance of the start finish line. We will have a new What's The Problem Article up soon to show how we can fix from having issues like this again and less people criticizing NASCAR.

Next Race

Another Friday Night Race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and we know just how great the Race was tonight, imagine when we get to a newly paved Kentucky, No more people asking Brendan Gaughan about the bumps or if they should repave it. Now Kentucky is a completely different beast and the Xfinity Series will look to Tame it before the Sprint Cup Series attempts to. Drivers like Ryan Sieg, Ryan Reed, Brendan Gaughan, among others will look to continue this momentum for the next few weeks!
