With William Byron's win tonight at Iowa, he is 2-0 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series since he graduated high school. After winning tonight at Iowa, William Byron marked something off his list that was done by the champion from 2015 who also happened to win at Iowa last season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Now with a different scenario, with the chase now in play, William Byron is begining to look a lot like Erik Jones. With the chance of moving up to the Xfinity Series in 2017 lingering for William Byron the chance of winning the championship this year will make Joe Gibbs Racing focus in a little bit more on what they will do with William Byron in the next few years. Joe Gibbs Racing's future is certainly looking bright not with just Erik Jones and William Byron but also Cody Coughlin, Christopher Bell, Daniel Suarez, along with many of the other development drivers in the organization.
