Trois-Rivières (Québec, Canada), June 16, 2016 – Following the delay that hit last weekend’s race, the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare team is more motivated than ever ahead of this first oval track event of the season, set to occur this upcoming Saturday, June 18 on the Sunset Speedway track in Innisfil, Ontario. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin can’t wait to be on the track and offer a performance worthy of his skill.
“Sunset Speedway is a beautiful track with a steep incline. With this many cars on the track, it’s going to be quite a show. Last year, we had a few issues with the car and we’re making sure it doesn’t happen again. Mark Dilley and his team are working hard to offer fans the best possible show. These are an environment, a circuit, and people that I very much appreciate, and we’re convinced that it’s going to be a fun weekend,” shares the enthused pilot of the #47 WeatherTech Canada / Groupe Bellemare car.
Since its acquisition by new owners in 2009 (circuit operating since 1968) – NASCAR Pinty’s veteran Mark Dilley being one of the co-owners – the track has undergone a lot of improvement work (enlargement, pit road, and more) in order to be more accessible for fans and to be host to multiple important series.
