Joey Logano Looks to Michigan For First Win of 2016

So far in 2016 the only two drivers who won in 2015, who have yet to post a points paying win in 2016, are Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Joey Logano returns to a track where he won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race with the Captain, Roger Penske. Joey won the Pure Michigan 400 in 2013 in his first season with Team Penske. Logano started that race in 2013 from the pole, leading 49 of the race's 200 laps to win. Logano looks to end his winless streak that goes all the way back to Talladega of last season. That is a total of 18 races since his last W. Logano and his team have not been lacking speed and the fact that he has not been to victory lane really surprises many fans and many fans rejoice at
it. Logano has so far recorded one non points paying victory in the All-Star Race earlier this season where they raced the same rule package they will race this weekend at Michigan. Joey Logano has had a rather successful season and a win is certainly just around the corner. Logano has one pole, at Martinsville, and 5 runner up starting positions. Logano has tallied 4 Top-5's, 3 Top-10's, and 2 DNF's. Those are his first DNF's since New Hampshire in 2014. Logano is surely working his way back to the Top and I would not doubt him being a championship contender as he has been in years past. There is still much of the season to go with many tracks Logano has been really great at in the past including Michigan, Daytona, New Hampshire, and of course Bristol. Logano turned 5 of his 6 wins from here until Homestead which means the odds are pretty good in the hands of Joey Logano and his Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion to land back in Victory Lane very soon.
