So far in 2016 one underfunded team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series have shown they mean business and that team is Hattori Racing Enterprises. They field the #81 Entry in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for brother of Martin Truex Jr., Ryan Truex. With a worst finish of 20th at Atlanta, Truex has continued to linger in with the rest of the higher money teams despite not having assurance of racing the following weekend. Truex has been very good in 2016 after finishing 2nd at Daytona, 12th at Martinsville, 6th at Kansas, and 8th at Dover. Truex continues to make small gains every weekend while competing against the likes of Kyle Busch Motorsports, GMS Racing, Thor Sport Racing, among the other funded programs. With the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series fixing to hit a string of races mistakes will have to be minimal and they will need to keep the truck clean and gain as much earnings as possible and they could be a contender come Chase Time.
