Kyle's Kryptonite Finally Ends as He Wins in Kansas!

Check Kansas off of that list as Kyle Busch takes the victory in GoBowling.com 400 at Kansas! Kyle Busch held off a hard charging Kevin Harvick to cross the finish line at a track that has seemed to be his Kryptonite over the years. It was Kyle Busch's 3rd win of the 2016 Season. Kyle only has Pocono and Charlotte left on the list of tracks he hasn't won at yet. Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth and Ryan Blaney rounded out the Top 5. Pole sitter Martin Truex had a dominating performance before a loose lug nut ended his chance at a victory.

NASCAR News Source Driver of The Week

This weekends Driver of The Week has to be Carl Edwards. After going through so much, Carl Edwards fought and fought to win his first victory at his home track and early in the Race Edwards scraped the wall flattening a tire and putting him all the way back 2 laps down. Edwards and his team kept the never give up attitude to finish 11th in today's GoBowling.com 400. Edwards ended the race with a smile on his face as he always does. Carl fought hard for 11th and that's why he wins this week's driver of the week!

Next Weekend

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at Dover Delaware next and well of course Jimmie Johnson and Kyle Busch are favorites but we remember the last two times we went to a Short Track, 2 underfunded teams showed who they were like Matt DiBenedetto and AJ Allmendinger. Will one of these underfunded teams capitalize and take a spot in the All Star Race? It's a LCQ for a driver to qualify for the All Star Race by winning a points race!
