Stats Are Just Numbers - Bristol Editon

As the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR K&N Pro Series heads to the Bristol Motor Speedway it will be one of the ages. Always is one of the best races of the Season. History, Chase Births, Dash 4 Cash just add to the excitement this weekend in Bristol and now more than ever, Stats are just numbers. As we hit the first Bristol Stats are Just Numbers Series it's one of my personal favorite tracks and it is one I enjoy attending when I can whether it's in the garage or in the stands.

Interesting Fact - In 2014 Denny Hamlin started on pole with a new track record, his first pole of the season. The race was delayed twice, just like the Daytona 500, for rain. Matt Kenseth was involved in a wreck at lap 163 when Timmy Hill rear-ended into him after a caution was called for a spin by Cole Whitt. Carl Edwards was leading with a few laps left when a mysterious caution was out. During an attempt for a Green-white-checker finish, the rain started falling and the race was unable to be restarted and would end under caution.
