This weekend at Richmond, Michael McDowell drove the #95 WRL General Contractors/MastiClean Chevrolet SS to a 31st place finish. His best finish at the short track in Richmond Virginia in 11 tries. Driver Michael McDowell qualified 32nd for the event, and raced between the 29th and 35th positions for the majority of the 300-mile race. McDowell reported loose conditions with the car and the need for “more drive off” as crew chief Dave Winston and the No. 95 team made changes throughout the day. “The team fought hard, but the adjustments just didn’t help enough to secure a Top-25 finish for our team,” said Jeremy Lange, Vice President of Circle Sport - Leavine Family Racing. “It was a disappointing week for our team as we are expecting more out of ourselves. We are not content with finishing where we have been these last two weeks and we will be working harder to improve.” Read the next article about McDowell and Talladega coming soon! (Koelle,2016)
