Food City and Bristol - History Making Partnership

Food City and the Bristol Motor Speedway have been a partnership that is one of those types of sponsors that I feel is the Poster Child in the NASCAR Community. Since 1992, Food City has been the entitlement sponsor of the Spring Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. It was always one of those race names that stuck to the track. I have had the pleasure of attending Food City 500's from 2006-2010 and then a return in 2014. Bristol. Food City, and NASCAR have always had a personal feel to it. Whenever we would vacation in North Eastern
Tennessee we would always shop at Food City's as I would always say in support of a Loyal NASCAR Sponsor. In 2015 Food City announced that it had purchased area BI-LO's and would be moving into Southern Tennessee, where I live. Seeing Food City around is one thing I enjoy seeing. You can always grab a good deal, and always awesome southern hospitality.
Aric Almirola came to the store in Hixson, TN a few weeks ago to help promote this weekend's Food City 500 and it was cool to see the amount of  Hospitality that the officials at Food City and Bristol Motor Speedway showed to fans as they flocked to see a popular NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Driver. Food City is one of those partnerships where NASCAR made them more popular and noticeable by being the entitlement sponsor at one of the most famous tracks on the NASCAR Circuit. We want to send Thank you to the people at Food City for staying loyal to NASCAR all these years and we hope to see them for many many years to come! (Koelle,2016)
