Are You Feeling Lucky? - Texas Edition

Texas Motor Speedway is the home of this weekends tussle in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and it's the scene of Round 8 for the Series. In 8 races we have had 7 different winners with Jimmie Johnson being the only driver winning twice so far in 2016 Season. As the season really begins to step up to the plate and be at bat, NASCAR is at some of it's best racing of the season. The Pick Four Standings will also add another driver to the rankings this weekend as we do not have Ryan Newman on the list this weekend so It is anyone's ball game.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pick Four

Greg Biffle

I predict the Biff will be back this weekend and well I could see him winning his first race since 2013. Biffle has shown speed so far in today's practice session and well I would not be surprised if the Biff reclaims Texas Motor Speedway from Jimmie Johnson and I could see Roush Fenway go to victory lane for the first time since 2014 when Carl Edwards did it at Sonoma. Greg can do it at Texas and has shown he can and recently he has been showing speed on the track with the new rule package.

Jimmie Johnson

You know good and well that if you don't have Jimmie Johnson on your fantasy picks this weekend you may need to go see a doctor. This guy has dominated at Texas for a while and I don't expect the reign to end anytime soon. Johnson ended Brad Keselowski's Chase Hopes last year after passing him in the final segment of the Race and then the following weekend at Phoenix rains fell from the heavens. Jimmie already has 2 wins in 2016 and in 2015 Texas was where Johnson got win #2 of the season. With a 3rd win it would definitely set you in the Top 5 seed in the Chase.

Joey Logano

After getting in an incident at Martinsville the week before Last season, Joey had a flat tire at Texas which ultimately put him in the must win situation at Phoenix where it ended up raining. Joey has had speed all season long, in fact he raced his teammate Brad Keselowski for the win at Las Vegas. But the speed hasn't landed Joey in victory lane. Yet. I think Texas could be the begining of something big for the driver of the #22 Ford Fusion. Don't be surprised to see him in victory lane tomorrow.

Jamie McMurray

Something is telling me McMurray will end a streak in Texas this weekend and that Streak has to be the Winless Streak. Jamie last won at Talladega in 2013 and continues to make gains for his Chip Ganassi Racing Team and I feel he could deliver a victory and a early chase birth for Jamie. The team almsot stole a spot in the 2nd round from Dale Earnhardt Jr. and I could see big things from CGR this season and I could see a championship on the heels for either Jamie or Kyle Larson. Certainly don't over look this Big Mac this weekend.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Pick 1

Brennan Poole

This guy who has been showing speed recently in both Practices ran at Texas this weekend could be the underdog to win his first Career win and overcome the dominance by Kyle Busch. Brennan has been talked about in every race he's been in and has improved in the #48 over his past results. I think Brennan could become the first Xfinity Series Regular to lock into the chase with a win Tonight in Texas!
