Ryan Ellis will return to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series begining at at Richmond in late April. Ryan Ellis, a few months after his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut, will return to the wheel of a Sprint Cup car for select races in 2016.
"Four or five years ago, I met Ron Devine and I told him one day I would drive for him. It seemed very far-fetched at the time, but this year it finally came to fruition," Ellis said about his deal with Devine's BK Racing team. It's an amazing opportunity for me and I'm so happy to bring ScienceLogic with me to the BK Racing program," Ellis continued. "I've gotten to know the ScienceLogic employees and brand a lot in the last year, and really feel like part of their family."
"Ryan is a driver that we've been watching for quite some time as he raced in the Trucks and Xfinity," said team owner Ron Devine. "We're proud to bring him to BK Racing this season and welcome ScienceLogic to our family."
"We see a lot of similarities between ScienceLogic and our driver Ryan Ellis - both in our passion for what we do every day and the speed at which we are advancing and growing in our respective professions. ScienceLogic is proud to continue our participation in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series by sponsoring Ryan Ellis and BK Racing this season," said Yama Habibzai, Chief Marketing Officer at ScienceLogic.
Ellis made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut last season at Phoenix driving the #33 for Circle Sport Racing. The #93 was last ran by Matt DiBenedetto at Daytona where he made the Daytona 500. The #93 is a Non-Chartered Car so Ryan will have to race his way in if there are more that 40 cars entered.
The Science Logic paint scheme you see on the #93 was created by Todd Casteel of Todd Casteel Designs! Amazing work as usual and that car will sure look great going around the Richmond International Speedway! The more sponsorship Ryan gets, The more Ryan races!
