Kyle Busch Wins Phoenix Pole

The pole that got away was in Atlanta for Kyle Busch. This pole as of 1:14 am the pole winner is still Kyle Busch. A Joe Gibbs Racing 1,2,3 sweep which includes Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin and pole sitter Kyle Busch highlighted today's qualifying in Phoenix. Hendrick Motorsports had a rather interesting beginning and end in qualifying with Kasey "The Smoke Bomb" Kahne setting off a smoke stream at the entrance of pit road. Also Jimmie Johnson took a right turn right into the wall ending his qualifying run. Both drivers may go to back up cars on Sunday.
